2022 Giant Roam 4 Disc M

With its confident, flat handlebar positioning and lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame, the Roam gives you all the best qualities of a mountain bike and a road bike. Its front suspension and new D-Fuse seatpost absorb road shocks and vibrations, adding comfort and control. It has powerful disc brakes and durable components, so it can take some bumps on rough city roads. And the fast rolling 700c wheels with Giant’s CrossCut tires can handle smooth roads or dirt with less risk of a flat tire, making it a great choice for town-to-trail adventures.

Agility and control

Updated flat-bar frame geometry puts the rider in a position that balances efficiency with stability, and disc brakes give you added control on rugged roads or dirt.

Smooth-riding comfort

The D-Fuse seatpost and suspension fork absorb road shocks and vibrations, and CrossCut tires let you run lower pressure for a smoother ride quality and a reduced risk of flats.

Integrated rack mounts

Compatible with rear racks, allowing easy cargo capacity for daily trips or longer treks.

Features may include:

  • ALUXX ALUMINUM

This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce a strong, lightweight frameset that’s ideal for all-rounder performance.

  • BALANCED RIDE POSITIONING

Frame geometry is specifically engineered to produce a balanced feel that blends comfortable flat-handlebar mountain bike positioning with the efficiency and easy acceleration of a road bike.

  • SUSPENSION FORK

63mm travel suspension fork absorbs shocks and boosts control so that Roam is capable of riding rough roads, pathways or dirt. Most models include a lockout option for optimal efficiency when riding smoother roads.

  • D-FUSE SEATPOST

The proprietary “D” shaped composite seatpost dampens road vibrations, resulting in a smooth, compliant ride.

  • LOWER SEATSTAY JUNCTION

Rear triangle is designed with seatstay tubes that meet the seattube at a lower point below the top tube junction. This adds compliance for a smoother ride quality and helps reduce overall frame weight.

  • INTEGRATED MOUNTS

Universal mounts on the seatstays and chainstays make it easy to accessorize with racks, fenders or a rear kickstand.

  • INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

Derailleur and rear brake cables are routed internally from integrated ports near the headtube to an exit point below the bottom bracket. This helps saves weight and creates a cleaner look and performance.
