Race-bred suspensionA new Maestro rear suspension system with longer travel (160mm) was developed and tested under the extreme conditions of Enduro World Series races. The trunnion mount shock has a longer stroke (62.5mm compared to 60mm on the previous generation). And the Advanced Forged Composite upper rocker arm adds stiffness and lowers overall weight.
Adjustable enduro geometryNew flip chip technology lets you switch between three settings depending on the terrain. You can select a 63.5, 63.9 or 64.2-degree head angle and corresponding 78.3, 78.7 or 79-degree seat tube angle, resulting in a 35, 30 or 25mm bottom bracket drop (size medium) to fine-tune handling for trail conditions, riding style and rear-wheel size.
Rear wheel optionsRiders can choose either a 29- or 27.5-inch rear wheel, paired with a 29-inch front wheel. The larger 29-inch option improves stability and roll-over capabilities, while the 27.5 option delivers a more agile, snappier feel. It’s a quick and easy change to adjust the bike’s handling and feel.
Features may include:
HIGHLIGHTSThe geometry of the ALUXX SL aluminum frameset has been updated to accommodate 29-inch wheels, and you now have the option to run a “mullet” setup with a 27.5 rear wheel. This translates into a short chainstay length, a shorter reach, and geometry that can be adjusted via a three-position flip chip. An updated Maestro suspension system delivers 160mm of rear wheel travel mated to a 170mm fork. And new integrated down tube storage provides convenient carrying capacity for trail riding essentials.
- ALUXX SL ALUMINUM
This state-of-the-art aluminum material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. The frameset features unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.
- MAESTRO SUSPENSION
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
- ADVANCED FORGED COMPOSITE
A state-of-the-art high-pressure molding process is used to produce the carbon fiber upper rocker link that’s lighter, stiffer and stronger than aluminum.
- ADJUSTABLE ENDURO GEOMETRY
Frame geometry can be adjusted between three settings to match riding style and terrain. You can select a 63.5, 63.9 or 64.2-degree head angle and corresponding 78.3, 78.7 or 79-degree seat tube angle, resulting in a 35, 30 or 25mm bottom bracket drop (size medium).
- REAR WHEEL SWAP
Riders can choose either a 29- or 27.5-inch rear wheel, paired with a 29-inch front wheel. The stock 29-inch rear wheel optimizes stability and roll-over capabilities, while a 27.5 option delivers a more agile, snappier feel. It’s a quick and easy change to adjust the bike’s handling and feel.
- BOOST TECHNOLOGY
Wider hub spacing (110mm front / 148mm rear) results in stiffer wheels for added control plus more tire clearance and an improved chainline for optimal drivetrain performance.
- TRUNNION MOUNT
New shock mount produces a lower leverage ratio for increased pedaling and braking efficiency, plus a lower center of gravity and shorter chainstays for improved handling, climbing and agility.
- INTERNAL STORAGE
All new integrated down tube storage provides convenient carrying capacity for on-trail essentials.
- POWERCORE
A massively oversized bottom bracket area features a fully integrated, 92mm wide design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
